The Continued Adventures of Tortuga

My sweet, rottweiler companion turned one year old last month. He continues to bring us joy and laughter. Some people go out and buy a TV. Instead we got a very entertaining dog. He weighs in at 67 pounds and some of his favorite activities include guarding our door, staring out our porch at the street, chewing on coconuts, frolicking in the nearby graveyard (our version of a dog park), & sniffing out mice. He was successful at killing three of these obnoxious little creatures this weekend! I love listening when Youv reads the book Good Dog, Carl. He reads it, laughs are the pictures of the dog & baby doing funny things and says "Gade, Tug"-- Look at Tug. There is nothing like having a four-legged friend.

"It's just the most amazing thing to love a dog, isn't it? It makes our relationships with people seem as boring as a bowl of oatmeal."
